Who is TrainwithMarc?

Marc Pelerin - a distance runner and coach. I ran competitively in high school and college with personal bests of 3:47 for 1500, 14:17 for the 5k and 1:10 for the half marathon. Unfortunately, running-related injuries always sidelined me so I got into coaching to give back to the sport that helped me so much.

I still run and race, but now I do it because I love and not because I was really good at it.

I’ve coached track and cross country at numerous high schools and a middle school since I left elite running. Now, I focus on having fun and working with my roster of online runners.
