My Issue with a Major Running News Outlet

Sweeping and broad statements don't help any kind of runner

It is really hard to make sweeping advice that fits every single runner across all stages of their running career.

What a beginner wants and needs to hear is different from what an experienced runner will find useful.

Figuring out who your audience is and writing for them takes some work. Writing sweeping, vague messages for all runners: that’s lazy.
